Junkyard Jewels | Faded Glory

Just south of boston and before the cape, lies just one of the many roadside auto salvage yards you'll see while traveling through southern Mass. What really drew my attention the first time was the cold-war era missile propped up against the fence outside. I would have loved to go in, but the we were short on time and needed to get home. A few weeks later, while passing through the same stretch of roadway with a little more time to spare, we puled over and i was able to snap a few pictures. Take a look: HERE These cars really are Junkyard Jewels

Carrot Love

My mom found these intertwined carrots at a local farm stand. They were just begging for a picture.

Zacks Place Turkey Trot a success for all!

Located right here in town, Zacks Place is a wonderful community enrichment center which holds a Thanksgiving day road race through Woodstock. The 2011 race was a great success for both the runners and photographers! Be sure to check out my ZP flickr set at

Walking on a winters day

Went out for a nice walk down along river road and spent close to 20 minutes photographing this ice-covered tree. I was trying to focus on a minimalistic approach and I think the photos came out pretty well.

Through the Civil Air Patrol program I had the opportunity to fly on one of these things [KC-135] for 3 hours refueling aircraft over the Atlantic Ocean. Check out the photos HERE
